Description:

Prof. Dodero has a Computer Science Degree from the Polytechnic Univ. of Madrid in 1993 and a Computer Science PhD from the Univ. Carlos III of Madrid in 2002. The major fields of study are software and web engineering, with a special focus on technology-enhanced learning apps. He has worked as a R&D Engineer for iSOCO S.A. and has been a Lecturer in the University Carlos III of Madrid. Since 2008 he holds is an Associate Professor in the University of Cádiz, Spain. He is coauthor of more than 12 publications on indexed international journals, 5 book chapters and more than 40 communications in international CS research conferences. He is member of ACM, founder and member of the Spanish Chapter of the ACM SIG on Computer Science Education (SIGCSE). In 2005 he received the young researcher award from the IEEE Technical Committee on Learning Technologies for his early postdoctoral research activities on this field.
